WATER

Water - Chaos meets Balance through Regeneration

TOUCH is our first and most important sense. Studies show that babies thrive on a certain amount of skin to skin contact per day and in reverse, if it is withheld, can impede growth and development. This does not go away as we get older.

Our bodies are approximately 60%-70% WATER so using water as an image is a great way to reconnect to feeling more fluid in our bodies and as a result in our lives. Stress is the leading cause of dis-ease and we have to store that stress somewhere. This in turn, creates stagnation, calcification and hardening of the tissues of the body. Massage soothes the nervous system that is overworked by stress, it brings blood flow to carry away toxins and brings in nourishing blood flow to muscles, connective tissue and organs; it helps improve Range of Motion through passive movement and helps us connect with our Inner Child through nurturing, caring, platonic touch.

Dolphyn Boschman has over 30 years experience in Massage Therapy and Holistic Practices that bridge a wide scope of modalities, techniques and case studies; everything from Swedish, Deep Tissue, Rapid Neuro-Fascial Technique and Passage Joint Movement to Eastern modalities of Tui Na, Thai and Jikiden Reiki. Each treatment is tailor made to the client’s needs, issues or preferences. Other methods available: Sensory Repatterning, Swedish, Sports, and Relaxation massage.

Tui Na Chinese Massage: The massage component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) is extremely effective on acute and chronic soft tissue damage and internal disorders. This style utilizes a variety of hand techniques as well as moxabustion, cupping and herbal remedies for therapeutic results.

Nuad Bo-Rarn Traditional Thai Massage (Northern Style): Uses slow, rhythmic movement and yoga-like or static stretches. This style is done on floor mats, with both practitioner and client wearing loose clothing, and is both relaxing and energizing.

Jikiden Reiki: Reiki is a form of energy healing using the palms of the hands to transfer healing energy or ki to the client. It is a gentle and effective form of healing for many conditions. Watch the video for more details on Jikiden Reiki.

Jikiden means “directly passed down” in Japanese. Jikiden Reiki is the original Japanese Reiki started in Japan, the birthplace of Reiki, and offers the only seminars presenting the teachings of Chujiro Hayashi, one of Mr. Usui’s student. Nothing has been added or amended from its original teachings.

Dolphyn is the only active Certified Shihan (Master Teacher) of Jikiden Reiki in Saskatchewan and one of less than a dozen in Canada. To learn more about Jikiden Reiki and courses available click the symbol
